How to Change Your Free Fire Name

Prepare a nickname, copy it carefully, and preview it in the game before confirming.

Before you start

Prepare more than one version of your new name. A plain backup is useful if a symbol or Unicode character is not accepted by your current client.

Change the nickname

  1. Open the game and go to your profile.
  2. Select the edit control beside your current nickname.
  3. Paste or enter your new name.
  4. Review every character and the displayed cost or required item.
  5. Confirm only when the preview is correct.

If the name is rejected

Check the length shown in-game, remove uncommon symbols, and try a simpler Unicode style. Requirements can change, so the game interface is the final source of truth.
